Mapping from source class to target
Description
This is the description on how to add the mapping from source class to target. This is useful if catalogs are provided in ECLASS or UNSPSC and you want them to be mapped to your internal classification system.
Step-by-step guide on DC4
To upload a source mapping, following steps have to be taken:
Navigate to Settings section on the left
Select Classification management from the dropdown menu
Step 2 - First you have to select on the Tab Classification systems the Upload button on the top right corner, than choose the Organization where you want to upload the file. Next, enter a Name for the upload. Then, select the appropriate Type and Version. After that, select the file you wish to upload, and click the "Upload" button to complete the process.
Step 3 - On the Tab Classification mappings choose the Organization where you want to upload the file. Next, enter a Name for the upload. Then, select the appropriate Type, and you have to choose Source classification and Target classification. After that, select the file you wish to upload, and click the "Upload" button to complete the process. Than wait for the file to be validated.
Step-by-step guide on CCS
To upload a source mapping, following steps have to be taken:
Navigate to Organization section on the top bar
Select Classification Mapping from the dropdown menu
Scroll down to see the upload section
Specify all the mandatory data
Choose the type of mapping – Source mappings
Make sure that chosen organization is correct
Define the classification file in excel format in accordance with the template file you find on the right side of this wiki page.
Choose Source Classification from the dropdown list
Choose Target Classification from another dropdown list
Click Upload file and wait for file to be validated
Mapping Template file:
Column SourceClassID means ID from source
Column TargetClassID means ID from target
