Validation Rules Packs
Are pre-configured sets of rules designed to maintain data integrity and accuracy within a system or database. Commonly used in software applications, databases, and data management systems, these packs help enforce consistency and reduce errors during data entry or processing.
To get started, open the Rule Packs section. In the top-right corner of the page, click the "New" button to create a new rule pack.

When you click on the SupplierAID Pack, a new page opens with two tabs: General and Validation Rules. In the top-right corner, you’ll also find an Edit option that allows you to modify the Name and Description of the rule pack.
Under the General tab, you’ll find two main sections:
Organization: Displays the Organization ID and Name (see Foto 1).
Basics: Shows the Rule Pack ID, Name, and Description (see Fotos 2 & 3).

Under the Validation Rules tab, you can add, edit, or delete individual validation rules as needed.

In this tab, you can see a list of validation rules filtered specifically for SupplierAID. These are commonly used rules associated with the selected pack. You can add as many validation rules as needed to tailor the pack to your requirements.

To add a new validation rule in this tab, you must first enter a Sequence Number, then click Save to apply the changes.

The next step is to navigate to the Catalog section and select Catalogs. Use the search function to find the catalog(s) where you want to add the rule packs. In this example, we’re using the Demo Catalog as a reference.

Next, go to the Validation Rules tab within the selected catalog. From there, you can choose the Import Template you want to apply. In this case, we’re selecting the SupplierAID Rule Pack that we previously created.

You will now see the SupplierAID Rule Pack listed under the Validation Rules tab. On the right side, there is a toggle button that allows you to enable or disable the rule pack as needed.

Validation rule templates
Are predefined sets of rules that dictate how data should be validated within a specific context. These templates help ensure data accuracy and consistency by providing a structured framework for validating data entries based on predetermined criteria. By using validation rule templates, organizations can enforce data integrity, prevent errors, and maintain consistency in their data management processes.
Rule Templates
To begin, select Catalog Validation from the menu on the left-hand side. This will open a new page where you’ll see two types of validation rule options:
