As we continue to enhance your experience on our new platform - BeNeering Cloud (BC), we are officially retiring All the functions in CCS with an exception to Start Page Editor. These functions have been replaced and integrated in the New Portal - BeNeering Cloud (BC).

Start Page Editor will continue to be available in CCS until further notice.

This update transforms the application entry point into a modern, AI-first experience that prioritizes data accuracy and user simplicity.

Key Changes :

1. Mandatory Profile Validation: Users are now prompted to complete missing mandatory data (e.g., Cost Center, Unloading Point) immediately upon login. This prevents downstream ordering errors and reduces "wrong-address" delivery issues.

2. AI-Driven Workspace: A new "AI Button" converts the start page into a full-screen AI Canvas, integrating chat and intake into a single, dynamic UI.

3. Intelligent Dashboard: * Task Management: Direct visibility into pending approvals, notifications, and messages.

4. Guided Tour [Only on first login]: Interactive tours now guide users through the new navigation pane, AI section, and the Employee Avatar (the new hub for Org and Accounting data).

5. Announcements : Real-time info for System downtime, new catalog / availability, expected downtime, etc.

We are changing the way user permissions are managed by moving away from individual "User-to-Employee" connections in favor of a more efficient Team-based model.

Key Changes :

1. Role Inheritance: Users now inherit their roles, authorizations, and filters directly from their assigned TEAM.

2. New "TEAM" Function: We are replacing legacy distribution lists with a new grouping logic. For now, this new logic will run alongside the old system to ensure a smooth transition.

Note : Users can no longer edit the relationship between employees and users in the CCS or BC portals. This has been moved to Display Only to protect data integrity during the migration.

We have enabled Mandatory Relation logic for the Digital Configuration Framework (DCF) when operating in Standalone Mode. This update ensures that all required dependencies are correctly enforced during the selection process. This fix also addresses previously reported issues with missing mandatory/related items in standalone mode.

Automatic Basket Addition: When a primary item is added to the basket, all mandatory related items are now automatically included.

We have updated the default behavior of the "I am substituting" filter to provide a cleaner, more focused entry point for approvers.

1. The "I am substituting" checkbox is now unchecked by default.

2. Upon login, the workitem approval list (top-right corner) and the main approval center will now display only the user’s own tasks.

3. Tasks for which the user is a designated substitute will only appear if the user actively selects the "I am substituting" option.

We’ve updated how messages work when you are acting as a substitute.

Some changes you will see are :

1. Real-Time Status update : If you are substituting for another user, opening a message or marking it as read or unread will now immediately update the status for all other substitutes of that user avoiding duplicate checks and handling.

2. Clear Visibility: You can instantly see if a teammate has already opened a message, allowing you to focus only on what still needs attention.

3. Personalized Replies: When you reply to a message on behalf of another user, the response will still show your name. This maintains clear accountability while you manage the shared workload.

Please Note : You have to enable the "I am substituting" filter. The read/unread status of any public message you interact with will automatically sync across the entire group of substitutes for that account.

We’ve simplified how you track catalogs through the approval process. No more searching through old reports—everything you need is now visible in the Catalog module.

1. "Your Approval" : A new filter show you exactly which catalogs are waiting for your action right now.

2. "In Approval" Filter: Want to see where a catalog is stuck? Use this filter to see all catalogs currently being reviewed, even if someone else is the approver.

3. Live Approval History: Click the new "Approval" button to see a full timeline of who approved or rejected a catalog and when.

4. Future Forecast: You can now see the current and next steps in the approval chain, so you know exactly who needs to sign off next.

We have restored the ability for customers to manage and delete core data elements within the BeNeering Cloud (BC). This update resolves previous limitations where customers were unable to delete.
